Marshall Watson Live @ The Old Blue Last
www.highpointlowlife.com <--they've put it up on the front page.

So that's how it went down....feedback and all. I had a great time playing the tunes...and some of this set is from my forthcoming album, Math and Other Word Problems. Many thanks to Janie and my homey Brother Luvs Dub for showing up and giving their support. FYI, That's Brian laughing really loud when I talk in the beginning of the last track. Inside joke.

enjoy.

Great set. Great evening.

Lovely memories of struggling there after a long tiring day working and an horrendous journey from Romford (how Dirtily karmic!!), being exhausted, rain-soaked, smelly and a tad overdressed for the occasion. And then meeting you guys, drinking nice vodka and tonic while Brian drank the Best Bottled Water in the World (TM), chatting, laughing and dancing to some truly lovely music.

Thank you!

Wow!! 10 minutes now, and I hear this great melody! Realising it's a shame it's only 34 minutes, but I'm really enjoying this. Nice and dark

As usual, beautiful and epic-sounding music from you, Marshall!

The first track reminded me of the "Dr. Who Theme" made legendary by Orbital's cover job. Strange analog rumbles and slow electro beats. Nice!

And just when i think you're headed into the old school, you drop a lush, ambient piece, sounds of the future! And also, the last track gave me chills and reminded me of M83, only better!

Excellent variety of melodies, beats and rhythms. Just wish it was longer and that i had been there to see you in action

Bizarrely, the last track reminds me of Mogwai...

It's really good stuff, by the way; I'm glad it went down well.

Cheers for uploading this for us dirts that couldn't make it.

Just listening to it now...while I write a term paper...Some great stuff. Disappointed I couldn't make it...I was across town listening to a lecture. Glad everything went well.
