Ali Farka Toure died earlier today...

I heard his stuff via the webcasts here and a well-stocked public library. It's really worth hearing and it's a shame he's gone, but then look what he did...

I own "In the heart of the moon" with toumani Diabaté & "Talking timbuktu" with Ry Cooder, both wonderful albums. That's a real shame.

i discovered him through uw's back to mine album. I think he did fantastic music.

Fuck, like Kenn, i discovere him on the BTM album, he did do some awesome stuff.
