new boom boom satellites!

I am listening to the new Boom Boom Satellites album, their first new material since the Appleseed soundtrack! Hooray! and all that.

The promo material says there will be US live dates starting in March, but they haven't got anything listed on their website unti June. I hope they come around here as I have heard good things about their shows.

Ive been following BBS for a while. Umbra is so/so but i really like photon.

I never really liked them much after Joyride and Out Loud. I've not followed them assiduously though - just sneaked peeks at the albums since then.

Am I missing much?

It is called "Full of Elevating Pleasures" and it looks like it doesn't come out until the 24th of March.

Their sound hasn't changed much since Out Loud, save for exception of some unexpected choral parts (which sometimes work) and some rather boring slow songs.
