Merchant City Festival (Glasgow)
http://www.merchantcityfestival.com/
2005 Dates: 21st - 25th September The programme of events is out in August but anyone looking for a weekend break in September would do well to check this wee gem out. Have a browse through last year's programme to see how interesting a time day you can have, followed by what I can only describe as raves in caves to some cutting edge acts like Future World Funk, Panjabi Hit Squad and Future Pilot AKA. Besides the obvious draw a place like Glasgow has, this street festival ensures that this particular weekend is a wee cracker.
