Just mentioned the Woob over on one of the boxset threads, praising him for running a really easy method for buying and downloading tracks.

The Repurpose album is excellent, I think he's one of those special ambient artists.
I kid myself that there's not much happening, how hard can it be to create this music?.

This man knows the difference.

Re: Woob
Mm, I haven't heard this yet. It's a shame it's half old material reworked rather than a new album full, but I'm still going to get myself a copy at some point. 1194 is one of my favourites from the mid-90s ambient/dub/techno scene, although I wasn't too taken with 4495.

Re: Woob
loved 1194 and still do, but I missed 4495
I didn't initially twig that this was some re-worked material
don't let it put you off, it's a lovely album

Re: Woob
Most of it's from 4495 which is probably why I was a bit disappointed, but there's new material so all is good. I'll be getting myself a copy when money allows, would be nice to actually own a Woob CD. I'm not paying the extortionate prices em:t discs go for on eBay.
