Shit Browne - Every Single Penny Will Be Reinvested in the Party
Great album name, great band name. Great album. Weird as it may seem, 5 guys from Paris are making brilliant Madchester 1990 / Factory twisted music that really gives you a kick up the arse. Its a brilliantly crafted non-stop homage to the music of 20 years ago with a modern angle. From start to finish its a jangly dancey electronic journey.

The forthcoming single Electronics is a catchy layered melodic guitar tune and straddles the electronic and baggy genre perfectly. The strangely titled "38°54'n -01°26'e - 07.06.1989 07-24 Eternal Love" is purely electronic bleepy layered goodness. Its lush. And then you've got the pure baggy madchester feel good crescendo good time guitar and harmonics of Sunflower. It really does put a smile on your face.

If you missed out of the whole scene back in the day, this is your chance to grab a piece of the action. If you were there 20 years ago, this is your chance to reminisce in the best way possible. The mixture of sounds makes for a great journey.

Check out their Myspace page to listen to some of their tunes, including Electronics. They also have a free remix download on Rcrdlbl.com and there's a French radio session floating about which shows that they can play it live when they need to.

One to watch!
