Future Sound Of London - From The Archives Vol. 1-3
http://www.fsoldigital.com/
Don't know how long this has been up there, but there are three albums of archive material now up at the FSOL webshop. Bought the first one, and it's 17 tracks of bona fide Lifeforms / ISDN material - I still can't believe that they've made all this goodness available. In total, there are 10 unreleased albums available, including their latest sound installation, A Gigantic Globular Burst of Anti-Static. |

NOOOOOOO!!!!!!
it's paypal only! and I can't get my account to activate! (edit) can't get it to activate, b/c I guess like... 3 years ago, they sent a 1.95 charge to my credit card with some sort of code attached... as my only card is like the "family one" or at least that's what it was when I was an undergrad, I never got the bill Last edited by joethelion; 03-20-2007 at 03:00 PM. |

Re: Future Sound Of London - From The Archives Vol. 1-3
well - I just tried to just pay directly with my credit card, but the shop makes you go through paypal
and my paypal account is supposed to just go directly to that credit card, but it still says I need this weird code deal from a previous credit card bill I have figured out a way to get the files... but it makes me feel quite guilty, as I'd imagine that there aren't many people that will be buying these releases and I'd rather support them like - why I paid for the RiverRun releases, even though those were just mp3's on top of which, I figure FSOL are probably in a bit more need of $$$ than say... other artists, or is that just me? [edit] not sure if anyone noticed, but on the store page - you can get one track for free "A tiny point of light 2" and I wish that these archive releases actually stated where the songs come from... know what I mean? Re: Future Sound Of London - From The Archives Vol. 1-3
I grabbed the free track as well, but it's a bit too new-age hippy for my liking. I'm sure it goes better with the video track...
Shame about the PayPal situation, I hoped it might work without an account. Might be worth sending an email their way getting them to sort it out - might save some pain in the future, since unfortunately I don't think PayPal are going away anytime soon. |
