Why no release date?
So does anyone know why Underworld are being so secretive with a release date for a new album? Are they afraid if they give a numerical date, that it will suddenly leak onto the web?
Or do they just not know yet themselves? |

Re: Why no release date?
Probz not tready yet!
I think they released details of the last album in June/July 2002 ans it didnt come out till September, hence a lot of filesharing of it.

Re: Why no release date?
Easy, when people know an album is coming they'll check to see if it's leaked. I did that last time and found it pretty easily (not to mention the album "reviews" on the Dirty forums a month before release date made it a fairly easy indicator that it was out there).
Knowing the name of an album can also be the keyword to finding the album, at least with most file sharing software. |

Re: Why no release date?
seems like that October time frame would be about right....maybe we'll get a single from it in early september, hopefully like the 'old' singles with a whole hour of remixes, b-sides, etc.
Seems the band wouldn't even have the time to tour if they weren't like 75% done with new material....with these shows acting as a 'test the waters' sort of deal to tweak the other 25% and/or make last minute changes to the thing. Remember that Rick is a "perfectionist".

Re: Why no release date?
Okay, you guys all got the question confused.
I said, "why is there no release DATE", I didn't ask what the name of the album was. And yes, I completely understand why they would hold off on naming the album because of file sharing - that makes sense. But why are they so tentative on releasing a DATE for the new album? |
