The House Of Love
Probably the greatest band that never was. Just listening to The Peel sessions and wondering why this band never made it so to speak.
I had heard recently from a chap that worked with the band that Guy Chadwick was a bit of a headcase... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_House_of_Love

Guy Chadwick the headcase? I think you'll find it was Terry Bickers that went off the rails a bit. His next band, Levitation were a fine band though. They split up on stage (which is very rock n roll) in 1993 though and he didnt do much else until the HoL reformed... Apparently the reunion gigs are brilliant.
