despite having (and loving) the track hale bopp for quite some time (think it's on a sasha mix album) i've only recently got around to checking out more of their recorded work and i'm loving what i've heard so far - excellent funky, trancey, techno.

i've got a few of their albums now but was wondering if anyone else here is a fan and what are the essential albums to get and also if anyone can recommend any similar sounding bands..?

I don't know the old album "Mental Modulator" and the follow-up "Elektro Disco" is a bit dull imo.

All of the following three albums ("Wellenbad", "Raumgleiter" (has "Hale Bopp" on it), "Klubraum" (check out track 04 - "Tanzstanze")) are ace, trancey, slightly monotonous techno. Haven't heard "Der kleine Korg und das Echo" yet.

Looking forward to seeing them live end of June. W00t!
