PG Remix Competition
Over at http://www.petergabriel.com/ there news of a "Shock the Monkey" remix comp open to all. An amazing site in itself, suggested viewing if you haven't already.
Gabriel's always been one of the greatest supporters of artistic flourishment, who knows, this may be YOUR big break. FIY: to view the competition you'll need to sign up to the full moon club, no fee, much like signing up here @dirty.org.

Re: PG Remix Competition
I would suggest signing up for the membership first, then go to NEWS section. Click on the pink link under the June 11 heading. The comp. is mentioned in quicktime video message, pretty close to the start of the video which runs about 10 minutes in total.
Also, on my side, this video kept restarting about 3 or 4 times, so be patient (unless it's just my OK computer that's slackish).

Re: PG Remix Competition
Thanks for this! Yes, the site and the RealWorld label in general is an excellent effort at giving truly cutting-edge world-beat artists international exposure.
About Peter Gabriel: i've been a fan of his since his days in Genesis in the 70's. But since he took ten years to make his last album, i kinda wondered about his relevance nowadays. But, having just watched the DVD for his last concert tour "Growing up: live", i'm reconvinced. Those that dig UW's visual aspects will probably enjoy Gabriel's excellent stage production. Cool revolving stage and lighting, choreagraphy (inc. a bit where Gabriel and his daughter walk on the ceiling, and he later sings from inside a huge bouncy ball!) Stunning! Gonna try my remixing to Shock the Monkey to Life!
