Ooh! If I am not a Belinda No Mates that night, you might well see me gracing the dance-floor (and stuffing me face in the restaurant) again!
Nice to hear you got the whole gig. Your mate was a nice enough bloke but too "vocal house" for my personal tastes.

it'd be good to have friendly faces around anyway!
to stick up for paul, he has to play for the crowd he gets to an extent; though i am pushing him more towards the darker side - but early in his set tends to be more 'swing-yer-trousers' type stuff... i was covering til midnight last week, and by 11.30 was getting hassled for 'songs that we know'! it's his first night off in 9 months, which isn't bad going
