even wizard called this one YEARS ago.

i forgot about it until now and i'm surprised it took this long considering how long the talk has been going around it

Re: Nicholas Cage as Ghost Rider
I wish they were doing Daniel Ketch instead of Johnny Blaze, thought the Ghost Rider seems more like the Ketch version. Apparently Daniel died at the end of the comic; did anyone read this?

That looks like it should be fun! Oh, and there's no 'h' in Nicolas Cage, btw.

Re: Nicholas Cage as Ghost Rider
Johnny Blaze has to be the most popular Ghost Rider.. I have never read a single issue and if anyone asked me what Ghost Rider's real name was I would have said Johnny Blaze. Must have been forced in there by those Marvel Collector cards back in the day.

Re: Nicholas Cage as Ghost Rider
Well, he is the original, and all that...but Daniel Ketch's story was good. As were his villains (Blackout in particular, though I guess he wouldn't make a good movie villain anyway).

I hope Method Man has a cameo.

Re: Nicholas Cage as Ghost Rider
I bet that the only reason why it's taken so long to do the movie (it's been rumored for what like... 6+ years?) is probably techniques for making Ghost Rider not look rediculous on screen

and I wasn't a huge reader of the comic, but yea - Daniel Ketch was the main guy for years. I do, however remember that Blackout (was that his name?) killed him towards the end of the comic... but they pulled the same sort of crap when they killed Superman (and Reed Richards) - he came back a few issues later

No one in comics stays dead. With the movie coming out I wouldn't be surprised if Johnny Blaze came back to life. ^__^
