i stumbled across this recording of Kid Koala live in Vienna in September 2005. the song i'm looking for is the first one in the set, and as kid koala tells the audience, it is apparently from Vienna, so that might be a bit of a help.
it sounds a bit like upbeat Sofa Surfers imho, but so far i had no luck tracking it down.... here's a snippet: >>Link<<
