£3 a track for 256k VBR mp3! Wtf? Though at they least they offer it as an option.

Still hawking the Brassic brand then?

i think its £3 per 12" release (4 track) or something. It appears to be £1 per track. £6 for a 7 track mini album.

man, for as long as i can remember brassic beats compilations they were always in the brassic BARGAIN BIN.

i think you misunderstand. This is Skint's online store, not just selling the old Brassic Beats compilations. Its got Dave Clarke, Alter Ego, XPress2 and Freq Nasty, along with the well known Skint stuff like Fatboy Slim, Midfield General and Lo-Fidelity Allstars.

I think a quid for 256kbps is slightly above average for the market. At Soma you pay £0.79 for a 192kbps mp3 (but yeah, you do pay £1.09 for FLAC).
