Mattafix - Signs of a Struggle

What's the general concensus on this record? I know they've been hyped a fair bit in the UK, but they're still pretty unknown over here (tho they did make Feature Album on JJJ). Big City Life has been played to death, and is nowhere near their best effort.

I for one quite like it. Took me a little while to warm to Marlon's whine, but once you get past it and hear what he's saying it's really quite nice.

The production is pretty tight too, with most of it self produced (and a helping hand from Sly and Robbie, I'm lead to believe).

I give this record 4 TOM's out of 5 TOM's.

they are on #1 here. i only know that one song. horrible.

I have the album and don't think it's anything special...

Shoulda known...bought it on Pete Tong's recommendation.
