anyone have a spare $15,000? (rare Bowie discovered)
Ok - so apparently some guy found a audio reel at a street sale in Philadelphia
the reel is from the Sigma Sound Studio recording sessions for the "Young Americans" album the tape contains four tracks: "Young Americans", "After Today", "I'm a Laser", and "Shilling of Rubes" ...the last two tracks have long been said to "not exist" - as in... "nope Bowe never recorded those songs, it was just a rumor" "Young Americans" is at least an alternate take, and "After Today" is either an alternate take of the released version from the "Sound+Vision Boxset" or it's an unreleased 'ballad version' http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=170382939180 what's crazy, is that this guy has a second tape as well aaaaaand - Bowie fans will probably never hear any of these tracks! |

This reminds me of the VU Acetate that was discovered.
This is the kind of thing that needs to be played/ ripped/ disseminated and put into a safe deposit box |
