uwlive.rowla.com - Underworld Gigography :)
OK, so the gigography is almost up together (its been there for many years, but its now starting to work properly).
Ive been working hard to put data in from 2003 - 2008 in my spare time, its been a long slow process. http://uwlive.rowla.com So a quick summary of what this is all about: The Underworld Gigography was initally born from the gig/bootleg listing on the old rtsr.org site. The data was tidied up, and moved to the dirty.org site but since the removal of the uw info i set it up as a seperate site. The intention is to have the most accurate and up to date info about Underworld live performances, which is easy to access. Whats changed since the old gigography? The info is now based around what we hear in recordings, and from reviews (so the info sometimes may not be reliable, but we go on what we know) but the recording information is NOT listed anymore. There is a Song Searcher. The info above was taken from the Song Searcher page - a listing of all Underworld tracks, and when they are known to have been performed live. Some songs have been put together (e.g. Globe / Holding The Moth and Beautiful Burnout / Biro) if there is no factual distinction between each song version. Rez and Cowgirl are listed as seperate entries. Each track has been listed under the artist from the discography (e.g. Freur / Lemon / Underworld (pre-1990) (TO FIX: THE ARTISTS WILL BE LISTED IN A DIFFERENT ORDER WHEN I GET AROUND TO IT) An attempted catalogue of Unknown Tracks. This is still very much work in progress. I know there will be some Unknown tracks from 2005 - 2009 that everyone will know the real name of, since i have been a bit out of touch with that info. edit: it is now 'finished', the data will develop as more setlists are added. http://uwlive.rowla.com/pages/uwunknowntracks Data DATA FROM 2005 - 2009 IS SERIOUSLY IN NEED OF SOME TIDYING UP. I HAVE BEEN ENTERING INFO AS I HAVE FOUND IT, BUT THERE ARE DATES MISSING FROM 2008 AND 2009 - AND I HAVENT GOT AROUND TO UPDATING THE TRACKLISTINGS FROM THE SAME ERA YET. Any questions you ask here, i will add to the FAQs page when its built so feel free to fire away The following people have contributed directly to me for the site: Yannick Joubert (Shell of data for 1st Gigography site in 2000) Tony Barrett (Loads of info from Pre-1992 era) Stefano Rovera (Freur / Underworld mk1 Era) Rajeev Gantela (For endless info and stats, and striving for perfection) Graham Cooke (Launched rtsr.org in 1998) Andy Jackson (Providing access to DAT collection of recorded Underworld gigs) Alex Staszko (Providing access to a big library of Underworld gigs, particularly from 1996 / 1998) Joe Topjian (Endless late nights, developing code and making all this work) Enjoy Mike Last edited by Mike; 04-07-2009 at 01:58 PM. |

For the Oblivion With Bells tour, perhaps the setlist that was played could be contrasted with what was down on the pieces of paper? I have at least two I can contribute...

This is awesome! great job, Mike, and all that contributed!
Enjoying the sound clips of the "unknown tracks" - brings back some fun bootleg memories! I loooove what's now called "Groove With Strings" Wish they would have fleshed that out, it's a stormer. For big fun, start "HMH#5" on beat with "Drum Attack". Very similar drum sounds.

Nope. That was "Quick Bit for Web." "Bit of Rope for Web" was a bit of "Rope" which was played live often in 2000. |
