Yage - The Woodlands Of Old
This is a nice surprise album by Future Sound of London - it's only available as a digital download from their site at www.fsoldigital.com at the moment, but I urge you to check out the samples.
It doesn't really sound like their other albums at all - lots of Eastern European sounding instruments and tribal sounding drumming all blended together in a completely awesome way. |

Re: Yage - The Woodlands Of Old
def going to check this out...
It's funny - I'm thinking I like this 'phase' of FSOL the most like going from Papua New Guinea Translations/ Isness onwards and Peppermint Tree was an INCREDIBLE album... I just wish more people bought it I actually got my friend who listens to nothing more than like... Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell and a bit of Donovan to really dig FSOL just because of the song "The Witchfinder" the next day, she DEMANDED all of FSOL's more psychedelic stuff |
