Saw 3 is a great flick!

Saw 3 is as hardcore a horror film as you'd imagine, but the drama and suspense is what really shines through. Great pace, setup, and surprises all around. Other than some wacky dialogue, nothing brings this film down at all, and it is way better than the second one (which I enjoyed quite a bit btw).

I think it will do well in the theaters simply from word of mouth alone.

Saw 4 is on the fast track after part 3 did so well last week.
Rumor is that it's supposed to be a prologue this time around.

This film was disgusting. Ther nastiest thing I've ever seen on film I think. That dude in chains was almost too much.

follows in the fine tradition of the other two movies of being dumb as a fucking brick but shies just short of being negatively frustrating.
jigsaw is, as always, full of shit, whose concept is pompous and inane, but i enjoyed watching the whole thing play out as ridiculous as it was. my friend couldnt stand it, she just sat there and kept going "oh my fucking god this is the dumbest...."

and then she'd trail off.

i dont understand now how a fourth one is to be done without doing the horrifically lame prequel route.
