I came across this but I can't seem to find any info on it. Anyone know anything about it?

Re: Portishead - Toy Box (Special Edition)
I saw/listened to that a while ago and decided it was someones collection of some singles and the Glory Times EP. The extra tracks (w Jane Birken) sounded like a cheap attempt to make you listen to someone's demos.
That's my take, anyone have any different ideas about this?

Re: Portishead - Toy Box (Special Edition)
well...

where did you get this info? was it a download or something?

but anyways...

While, I do think that there was some sort of 'Toy Box' promo (or maybe it was just from the title of the remix?) this thing does not look legit. Especially with the inclusion of "Over" which was on their second album

Not heard them yet, but I don't think that is a fair assessment of Jane Birkin somehow. OK, she is not a megastar in anglophone countries, but she is a highly respected artist in francophone ones.

I'd never heard of her and didn't find those tracks to be very impressive. Obviously not Portishead (in all aspects, no similarities) though, I don't know why anyone would throw those on there even as a bootleg collection.

Beth Gibbons did a collaboration with Jane Birkin in 2004 called Rendez-Vous.
