Folks, for over 20 years I've been producing electronic music. I've shared (or subjected you to!) a lot of it on these very forums, whether requested or not, because you've been kind with feedback and Underworld informs a lot of what i try (unsuccessfully) to produce. I even met a decade-long collaborator here, mr. undarrenworld.
In 2008, i started a netlabel,
Believe in Billy Records, to release my own tunes and a few collaborative artists when i want. Doesn't get the exposure as other labels I've worked with, but that's ok, and I'm not too active as a marketer.
Anyway, Netlabel Day is coming up in July, and a journalist encouraged me to have some releases and a label sampler to share for the day. So I've curated some of my favorite tracks and artists released via my netlabel. It gives a good primer to the styles and aesthetics I prefer- ambient/soundscape-leaning electronic, some techno. Maybe you like that sort of style, too?
Here it is,
