Well, it's a given that if I want to see them, I'll have to fly. And it's going to be $3-400 at a minimum to make it to the West Coast. So if I'm already spending that much, I might as well add some more cities at an incremental cost.

Yeah, my wife thinks UW sounds like a lot of noise, so she'd never come. I'll never be alone with my fellow Dirts there though.
