It really boggles the mind that so many people out there still seem concerned with the same ridiculous list of questions about Obama:
Does he wear a flag pin on his lapel?
Is he a Muslim?
Wasn't he sworn in on a Koran?
He was born in one a them foreign countries, right?
Why doesn't he put his hand over his heart when he says the Pledge of Allegiance? He must hate this country!
All important, intelligent, hard-hitting questions to be sure (
), but luckily, AFL-CIO is sending out a mailer to around 600,000 union members in battleground states that's meant to
finally set the record straight. That people actually base their support of a candidate on such superficial, impertinent issues scares the crap out of me, but I'm glad there's an effort to dispel these myths all the same.
