i've never been happy about the release policy in japan - but many bands have different release strategies for different territories... if you are an uber fan that is one of the pit falls...
so we're just supposed to accept it? and change will
never happen?

Coupled with that though, i've never been unhappy with the way Underworld have and always do look after their fans, especially the regular forum posters...

i mean whats happening later today at 6pm??

Underworld, off their own back are sitting down in a studio and playing 2+ hours worth of music (most likely to include some unheard of jems) mainly for people who drop by here reguarly
apples and oranges, no ones complaining that underworld isn't
doing enough to give us music, its the methodology
and inconsistency thats the issue..

not everything is clear, release policies and costs may well influence these decisions, and before we bash the boys, i think we will get more and more product available digitally over the coming months... so patience my friends
speculation doesn't help either, until its said and done..

and to blame the 'live here now' issue on UW is unfair, as is the release of
the sunshine soundtrack, which is owned by a different corporation
slating the band themselves won't get stuff released...
no, in this case, it is clearly their fault also...why would
you partner with someone that has obviously dropped
the ball repeatedly, and at great expense.....no, they
need to step up and admit its not working, or take
steps to fix things...yes, liveherenow did FINALLY get
their act together, but after how long? and how much
prompting? is this professional?

and before all of you start complaining about me, and the
complexities, etc,...etc....i worked with KMFDM and their
official site for a couple of years, we were a small outfit,
and ok, so they don't have a huge fanbase, but they did
have a vocal and faithful following, we were running the
merchandise out of my friends house, we did all the
packing ourselves, shipping, etc...we made sure each
and every customer was happy, we checked every order,
and we also threw in a ton of free stuff......and guess
what, our budget wasn't much either...but we did add
digital downloads, free fanshows, free passes, and a ton
of other things just for the fans...so i know it can be
done....and yes, we were in touch with sascha, and brute,
and did consult people about all the decisions concerning
artwork, releases, singles, digital stuff etc.......

i know yannick is doing an awesome job, and so is ant, steve,
and of course the group.....but sometimes you need
to step back, and reevaluate where you're going, and
see if it is right/wrong, and admit when things go wrong, and
change it to something better...
