because it's hilarious.
this may not mean anything to you but, you know, it's missouri. as soon as i saw the headline i knew it would be somewhere in the south, somewhere between georgia and texas. stereotypes exist because sometimes they're painfully true.
p.s. anyone who considers missouri part of the midwest and not the south has either never been to missouri or is living in complete denial.
