I usually tend to think that Underworld's best years are the ones shown in that 1992-2002 compaliation, and that OWB while being a good album doesn't really match their fantastic first three. A collection like this, however, shows me they still got it, and it doesn't even have Darc on it!

i love those years too, but after reading many interviews and reading about how they write music, i have to disagree. there was talk of stopping drinking and focusing more on projects and goals, which makes sense to me. the lyrics and themes on 100 days off are extremely optimistic and refreshing, whereas born slippy days = drink/dance binging. so for me i am excited to hear all this personal development in the music.
i think the anthology shows what they were, while the new stuff shows what they as artists want to make (which from my understanding wouldn't be drink/drug dance anthems anymore).
