yeah but at least 'fill my little world' was a pretty good pop song.
besides, i'd have thought the 2008 Feeling tag would have gone to the fucking hoosiers with their bland of feelgood poprock that you just know the virgin radio listening housewives are going to lap up
i don't listen to the radio anymore (apart from using the listen again feature on radio 1 to check out essential mixes and rob da bank) so thankfully am spared having to endure most of these bands (apart from in shops and on the relentless tv adverts - although now i've got sky+ i don't have to watch them anymore either
)
one of my best mates has probably the worst taste in music (and films) i've ever known anyone to have (for example, when Westlife come to Cardiff she goes to
every single show - that's like 2 a day for 3 days!!
) and so i always use her as my yardstick on these sort of bands.
suffice to say, she recently saw scouting for girls live and she fucking loved them
