De Witte Aap looks like a good place actually, (straight forward out of the station down Mauritusweg/Westersingel then take a left on Witte de Withstraat), but as you say, SMD could be starting at 8pm. I dont believe that UW will start before 9pm though.
I think I have numbers for Lloyd / KoS / Leon / Geo / Techno Bunny(?) and maybe Ivona (dark star) so i'm sure we'll manage to find each other. I'll certainly be at the bar or the vicinity trying to avoid drinking anything Heineken related.
For the Amsterdam meet, I wonder what the bar will be like outside the HMH as usual. The football kicks off at 20:45 which could mean its VERY busy there. This is essentially the biggest football match of the season. Nightmare. Dutch football fans are thugs too. Avoid. They like to get fueled up on beer and cocaine before the matches.
We might be better off in the restaurant 'Het Vervolg' which is round the back. This Neil Young meetup page gives full directions!
