So, there I was driving home from my girlfriend's house at 3am, Radio 4 has passed the shipping forecast and turned into the World Service... so I flick over to Radio 1 and what do I hear? Britney? Oasis? No... I hear, unbelievably, "You Do Scribble"!
It turns out that from 2am to 4am on Mondays, Rob Da Bank has a show of live recordings that included an 'exclusive recording' of Underworld at the Roundhouse... it seems to be a proper desk recording as you'd expect from the BBC, but with lots more crowd noise than the official live CD.
I only caught the end of the UW segment as I was driving, but there is a lor more on the 'listen again' page that you can hear here:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/robdabank/
(click 'listen to part 2')
There's a 2-part interview, and probably enough of the gig for people to decide if they want the CD too...
...and after UW, if that's not enough, there's a couple of live Chemical Brothers tracks too and a band called 'Justice' who are also worth a listen.
