ok,
i know most people don't have vhs players..

but i'm sure you can find one cheaply,
and a someone (or service) with a conversion
to dvd can be done...maybe not with the greatest
quality..

just for reference....i did a svcd capture
of the 'footwear repairs' by passing it from vhs->8mm->
capture board at 720x480..

and have been using that to watch it..

there's a lot of grain and noise, and due to a lot
of quick transitions, some parts get pretty blocky.
however, this was about 8 years ago...i'm sure a
newer encode, would do a much better job, especially
with newer codes .h264, .divx etc..

the sound quality was pretty good, but i'm sure
that could be re-encoded, except for the 'extra
improv bit's between some videos..
