The broadcast today (or yesterday, seeing as how it's 1:30AM) was
solid. The version of Pearl's Girl was brilliant, with the vocal effects (it's nice to see them finally doing more to the tunes again than just re-sequencing them) and the visuals on the stream thanks to 18 year-old Dave Gamble (I think) who was only doing his second broadcast. It was sick. The version of Rez/Cowgirl/Rez/Cowgirl was solid, especially after the little Logic fuck-up at the beginning. FAR better than the first Roundhouse gig, leaving me with high hopes for tomorrow. Kittens destroyed me, and I wasn't even at the gig.
What surprised me the most was that the folk doing the stream were all 14-18 years old. I mean I knew they were going to be using students but I didn't think they were going to be using kids. They've all done a wonderful job, very impressive.
