IT was the first "grown up" book I ever read because I was so fascinated with it. The movie.... eh, if you see it today you'll be unimpressed. It was a TV miniseries so a lot of it's really cheeseball. There are some good scenes and Tim Curry is great as the clown and I still kinda like it just because I'm so connected with the book but... it's not a good movie.

The book is scary though, and watching the movie triggering memories of the book is also scary.


I think the first 15 minutes of Lost Highway is scary as shit.

Jurassic Park? no.

The Shining? yes.
