i haven't seen the US shows...obviously, but at Knebworth, and i believe they are doing it now elsewhere, i think those stupid inflatables are pretty distracting and annoying...
like, wtf is their purpose, except maybe to piss the stagehands off...
"look guys we want you to go on and inflate these ten giant day-go condoms in like 10 seconds before our song kicks in...."

i thought it was part of the Renaissance thing at Knebworth, but it turns out that its an Underworld thing... i somehow feel its a bit out of character with the rest of the tomato-esque 'technical & graphical' nature of the shows...
its all a bit too 'rave' for my liking...
