Yes, it'll remain to be seen how this collection sounds...ultimately greatest hits collections are for the casual listener who might like a few songs and hear others that will lead them to buy more. The fanatics already own it all, anyway, and will have their complaints. The bonus disc is a nice gesture to the fanbase, though, just as the Chems' comp. was. i wasn't aware that the Orbital disc was designed to simply be a "singles" collection, but it was effective in getting me into the band back in 2002. Later i realized how tracks had been altered or shortened, but at the time it was pretty special.

Concerning the Prodigy's latest output, i'll say again that most people in the US were barely aware they were still around! They remember "Firestarter" and that's the aging image that's stuck. AONO was, for all it's revisions and rough edges (Juliete Lewis' vocal, i'm looking in your direction!), a pretty enjoyable record. It didn't sound like FOTL or Experience, but different needn't equal Bad. Take the new Royksopp...it's no "Melody AM", but it's good in its own way. I'm sure there are some people who think Daft Punk's "Human After All" is a fine progression, too. It's tough for bands who put out a legendary album(s), because they'll always be compared to that earlier work, methinks.
