Well, Apple just introduced iTunes Plus today, which is DRM-free files encoded at 256 Kbps AAC (twice the bitrate of what they used to be).
Unfortunately, iTunes Plus is only available for music on EMI labels, which appears to not be Underworld. It's up to the labels to agree to allow Apple to release DRM-free tracks (EMI was the first to step up to the plate), so I'm not sure how that works for Underworld, or
JAL to Tokyo in particular.
