And, it's a KCRW-sponsored event which means a sensible NPR crowd who like NIIIIICE progressive music with the crusty bits cut off. Don't expect it to be 1996 with young hardcore kids banging their heads into the bassbins. 
Still, the Hollywood Bowl is a place you play and say "I played the Hollywood Bowl - just like the Beatles and the Doors!" It carries a bit of music history weight to it. |
