I did half-like some of their stuff previously but their singer looks like such a cunt and Chasing Cars is so awful that I can't abide anything by them any longer.

aah, but i forgive them their sins as when i caught them at a festival in cardiff last summer, they said that the band that inspired them the most and, in their opinion, the best band in the world, was none other than super furry animals. so they went up in my esteem for that
plus they name check sufjan stevens and the track chicago on the second song on the lp. they've also worked with freelance hellraiser on their mix album the trip so i think it's a case of a band having pretty good taste in music except when it comes to their own songwriting/qualilty control
