I know this is "dated" but these are the songs i think of everytime i hear "electro":

you might wanna check out Modelselektor, G.D. Luxxe, Ascii Disko (though I'm not 100% sure whether they qualify as "electro", they sound pretty semi-minimal blippy mm*tstt*mm*tstt to me)
and get: Moby - Go (Trentemoller remix)
