Coldplay's X&Y really is quite good. They're easy critical targets, but the musicianship is very solid and, for them, a step forward. First few listens, i wished the lyrics were better, but it's a grower for sure...lots of textures, and damn, the words aren't too bad at second blush!
I'm also glad to hear that
Royksopp's new LP is dancier and decent. "Melody AM" had such a great vibe, but i likee the dancee! I'll have to check it out.
