most of the time this filename is the same as the cuesheet's one, so renameing the mp3 file did the trick.

I can understand that, which is why cuesplitter didn't work but musicutter went through the whole process (seemed to be splitting tracks and writing them for about 15-20mins
) and reported that track 1 (globe) was ok but all the other tracks were skipped.
