if you work from home, leave a message with the spouse to say you're out of action
and skip happily into the sunset for some sensory tingling from messrs. smith, hyde and price. if you don't work from home - leave a garbled message for the boss stating sudden illness etc.
i wouldn't normally condone such behaviour
but desperate times call for desperate measures.
p.s. any of u based in the uk, there are still tickets for dublin available and cheap flights to be had.
