I'm trying to understand your logic here, but can't seem to grasp it. It was getting dinged up so instead of keeping it and letting have some character and wear and tear you throw it out?

I would have gladly taken it. I've got a copy of Process that a friend's dog chewed up along one corner and it looks great beat up.

Sure I've got books that I like pristine and nice like some advance reader copies of novels and hard back books with lots of glossy pictures, but I've got plenty of other books that are dog eared and tattered. I guess thats just me though.
