joe, i've used both Abelton and Traktor 3. Both have a learning curve. Traktor is much harder to use to mix with than Abelton, which is extremely easy to make dj mixes with. no talent required, just good songs. Traktor on the other hand, requires some manouvering and nudging, just like actual DJing. i'd say go for Abelton, just for the flexibility. I never settled into Traktor 3, preferred v.2 tbh. It all depends on what your needs are. I could more easily decide to mix and switch on Traktor to do it, now when i want to mix, i have to launch LIve, find tracks to mix, warp the trax and then start mixing. Kinda kills the spontaneous vibe, but once you have them warped, you too can sound like Sasha (or your other favorite flawless dj)

hell, even Eikman can dj with Live!
