The colors were enhanced in Photoshop with a few levels adjustments. The technique makes for some unnaturally colorful photos.
A few years ago I was introduced to B&W darkroom stuff in college. I recently got a digital camera, so I've been trying to embrace photoshop -- it really is an amazing tool.
