That's quite fair.
I think the speed may be this artist's key distinction. It seems to boil down to how you hear it; for me, the endless succession of musical quips only reminds me, repeatedly, of why I tired of supposed auteurs sampling pop. I did however recently hear several more clips of his work, and enjoyed them a bit more than the ones referenced here. Mind you, not enough to change my mind.
