Ok, if you have the 14min ambient track then just follow the instructions in the first post
exactly. You shouldnt be opening the file in Real Player or Windows Media Player anyway. What you should be doing is opening the CUE file in CueSplitter. If the uwlive recording is in the same folder, it will find it.

Heh. its not that bad. I suspect that what happened was that you had Real Player installed and it stole the file associations for all media types. Then you uninstalled that and then MS Windows Media Player took them all meaning that all media files now open in that. I also suspect that you dont have visible file extensions (go into My Computer/Tools/Folder Options/View and de-select the "Hide extensions for known file types" box). Hopefully the file you saved from Underworldlive.com will now show up as .mp3 (although the icon next to it may show Real Player or Windows Media Player and open in one of those applications).

BTW, by a "nasty application" I mean ones that do things that you don't ask it to, such as changing settings like which application is chosen to open certain file types.
