Re: something (chant) reminds me very much of blade runner.
sorry for posting so much lately.. just got nothing to do for 4 hours.

The differences in the versions:

The Domestic Cut - Not that many differences.

* The 3 extra shots that were seen in the San Diego Sneak were cut from the film.
* Added the close-up of Batty's head and spasming hand in the VidPhon booth.
* Deckard's wall to wall narration & happy ending were included.

The Director's Cut - This version has 4 major differences.

* Deckard's narration is removed.
* The extra violence seen in the International Cut was cut from this version.
* No happy ending scene
* Features a unicorn vision while Deckard is drunk & playing the piano. This is not found in any other version.

The Workprint - Contains the most, with at least 70 sound and video variations, of which, I will list a few key ones.

* Deckard's narration is absent until after Batty says "time to die", and then Deckard narrates: "I watched him die all night. It was a long, slow thing and he fought it all the way. He never whimpered and he never quit. He took all the time he had as though he loved life very much. Every second of it...even the pain. Then he was dead".
* Two full screen shots of the giant starring eye are omitted.
* This version has a darker and grainier look to it, making the rain and darkness more prevalent throughout.
* Flight to Police HQ includes dialogue of Gaff insulting Deckard in Cityspeak.
* Captain Bryant informs Deckard that not one but two replicants "got fried running through an electrical field" at the Tyrell Corp. Which accounts for the missing 6th replicant.
* No unicorn shot in this version and also no Vangelis music heard while Deckard plays the piano.
* The scene with Batty and Tyrell has Batty saying: "I want more life, Father" instead of, "I want more life, fucker". This take was intended for the TV version.
* The close-ups of the nail pushing through Batty's hand are omitted.
* No "happy ending" in this version.

The San Diego Sneak Preview - Features 3 extra shots found in no other version.

* Roy Batty is introduced standing in the VidPhon booth in a full shot, talking to someone on the telephone. The close-up shot of Batty's hand is gone in this version.
* During the showdown between Batty & Deckard, this version shows Deckard reloading his gun after getting his two fingers broke.
* Features the happy ending.
* A high-angled shot of Deckard's sedan driving along a road through a forest during the "happy ending".
* This version also includes Deckard's wall to wall narration.

The International Cut - This is a more violent version of the film and is the BR version seen by most.

* Tyrell's death scene is more graphic with two additional shots of Batty's thumbs poking Tyrell's eyes.
* Additional footage of the fight between Deckard and Pris. This version shows Pris inserting two fingers into Deckard's nose and pulling it backward. It also shows Deckard shooting Pris 3 times to kill her, whereas the Domestic & Director's Cut versions only show him shooting her twice.
* Additional shot of Batty pushing the nail through the palm of his hand and then showing it come through the back of it.
* Deckard's narration and happy ending included.

The Broadcast Version - Same as the Domestic Cut except that most of the violence was removed and the swearing eliminated.

* Bryant's line "Don't be an asshole, Deckard" was changed to "Don't be an ass, Deckard".
* "Christ" was removed from Bryant's line "Christ, Deckard, you look almost as bad as that skin job you left on the sidewalk.
* The "goddamn" was cut from Bryant's line "He's a goddamn one-man slaughterhouse".
* "I want more life, fucker" was changed to "I want more life" during Batty's visit with Tyrell.
* Zhora's nudity was removed by zooming in and cropping the image of her breasts in her dressing room.
