Yes I remember the Shangri-Las. I think I did hear Leader of the Pack for the first time while in the back of my parents car when driving from Eindhoven in the south to Den Helder in the north of the Netherlands visiting my granddad. Quite a journey back in the early 70's. The atmosphere in that song still hunts me to date. I didn't understand the lyrics back then ofcourse, but still...
