art school confidential
I went to see Art School Confidential this past weekend and thought it was alright. Perhaps I was anticipating it the storyline to be as great as Ghost World, but it fell short. The dialogue was great, in fact, I'm sure many of you can relate to the art class experience, especially the critiques. <spoiler>I couldn't help but bust up laughing when the art professor explained how it had taken him 20 or so years to get to his current method of painting...</spoiler> it reminded me of the way my professors have explained work by Mondriaan, Rothko, and Newman (or rather justified it). Eno was my favorite though, he reminded me of myself through my 2-d composition class this past semester.
What did you guys think?
